Route: Hebbal - Devanahalli NH 44 - Chikkaballapur NH44 - Avalabetta
Driving Distance: About 100 kms from Bangalore
Road Condition:
Excellent
Most of the drive is on the Highways and last couple of kms through the
village also has well paved roads.
Trek Difficulty:
Easy , the whole trek up the hill has steps so its quite easy if you are a little fit.
Best Time to Visit:
Any time except for during rainy days , visit after the monsoons will be
appreciable with all the greenery adding charm to the place.
Food:
The Highway has a lot of good hotels.
You will find villagers selling buttermilk , coconut water , cucumbers , fruits at the foot
of the hill and at the end of trial also.
Tips:
Reach early before it gets too hot. The place is good for a peaceful trek with great
views. Even during monsoon , the place felt very hot , caps and light clothing is
recommended. And don't forget to carry loads of water !! you sure are going to need
that !!
Tried and Tested:
Lunch @ Godavari Delicacy , the restaurant has ample parking space , good food and
service and clean restrooms. If you are craving for a good Andhra meal its a good
stop. There is also a small Chai shop right next to it in case you wish to stop for some
Chai and snacks. The place also hosts a small mud made handicrafts shop which sells
some unexpectedly beautiful mud made handicrafts and cooking vessels.
